Laying off employees can be a very emotionally charged process for effected employees, managers who have to deliver the bad news and even employees who will remain with the company. I partner with organization leaders to provide coaching on: resume writing, skills improvement, job search, interviewing and career management. I also work with the remaining workforce to help them adjust to their new responsibilities and work environment.
I provide resume writing advice and offer up to 3 critiques/reviews with feedback. For an additional fee I will write or rewrite resumes for some employees.
I conduct various skills assessments and will provide tools to help employees improve their skill set to make them more marketable in the job market.
I work closely with each employee to help them create and implement a strategic job search plan. This includes finding and pursuing additional types of roles that match their skills and experience, finding the best companies to target as well as creating a marketing plan to get their information into the right hands.
Through a series of mock interviews I help employees and job seekers perfect their interviewing skills. I focus on pre-interview, various levels and types of interviews as well as post-interview steps.
Career Empowerment Workshops
I work with current and remaining employees to help them adjust to major changes and excel in their roles. Oftentimes employees just need advice from someone outside of the company to help manage their expectations and keep them focused on their development.
